Show Yahoo that we are OKAY with them buying Tumblr as long as they leave the current terms and conditions intact and the enforcement policy.
Aka, the site remains the EXACT same as it was before. Keep Tumblr the same Yahoo and we will stay.

This kiss might be CENSORED if we don’t speak out!
Finland’s Eurovision Song Contest entry, Krista Siegfrids, is set to perform her tribute to equality, Marry Me, ending with a kiss with one of her female dancers.
But, pressure is building for Eurovision to censor Krista’s performance to appease homophobic broadcasters. Already, Turkey has refused to broadcast the show on air because of it…

‘Ring of Fire’ eclipse wows Australia
AP: Skygazers across the Australian Outback were among the lucky few to witness a solar eclipse on Friday as the moon glided between Earth and the sun, blocking everything but a dazzling ring of light.
The celestial spectacle, known as a “ring of fire” eclipse, was the second solar eclipse visible from northern Australia in six months. In November, a total solar eclipse plunged the country’s northeast into darkness, delighting astronomers and tourists who flocked to the region from across the globe to witness it.

Tweeting Turkish pianist given suspended sentence for blasphemy
Reuters: A world-renowned concert pianist was given a suspended jail sentence in Turkey for insulting religious values on Twitter, a case which has become a cause celebre for Turks alarmed about creeping Islamic conservatism.
Fazil Say, also a leading composer, went on trial in October for blasphemy - a crime that can carry an 18-month sentence - for a series of tweets including one citing a thousand-year-old poem.

Junius Stinney was the youngest person in America to be executed on death row in 1944 at age 14. He was quickly accused by the (white police) of ‘killing’ two little (white girls) with lack of evidence. His conviction and sentencing opened and closed in one day. There were no witnesses called and there was no transcript of the trial details and black people were not allowed inside the courtroom during that time.
[I always repost this because i don’t want anyone to forget about him!]
